I was told by a friend to watch the trailer for “Catfish” after doing so I am absolutely flabbergasted. It starts out like a documentary about a guy who has a relationship with a girl on facebook. His film maker friends are filming the whole thing, making fun of him, ragging on his comments to her on facebook etc.
Then the trailer takes a turn for the weird. They decide to drive to her farm in like Minnesota or Michigan or something like that and pull into her driveway and something crazy begins to happen but the thing is the trailer doesn’t tell you anything. I am so confused. I have no idea what the movie is about but I am guessing its something crazy from the music and intense editing of the trailer.
This film showed at Sundance and allegidley got rave reviews. I hope it comes to Lafayette so that I can check it out and cure my curiousity from the trailer.
Check it out
