To Die For: Justin Bent Rail Boots

1 Oct

So I have never been the outdoorsy type or the type of girl that likes to get dirty but living in Louisiana I see my share of people in western wear and have always secretly wanted a great pair of boots.  With true cowboys and girls I hear that the look or fashion of the boot is second to the quality and fit.  I came across a pair of boots that have me wanting to embrace my inner cowgirl, Justin Bent Rail Boots in Puma Tan…they are just to die for, beautiful distressed brown leather that would go well with lots of different outfits as well as look really fashionable for the fall.

Cowboy boots are really big for the fall and are in all of the trendy stores but why not go straight to the source and buy the brand that the real cowgirls wear while they are riding horses and walking in dirt.  Justin Boots are of the highest quality and each pair is made with over 16 square feet of natural leather, 16 feet! When I hear something like that it makes me understand the price tag and appreciate the quality of the product that I am dying for. The boots range from about $140 to $399 depending on the style you choose.

The Bent Rail line offers a crazy amount of colors and styles that would go with anyone’s wardrobe.  My favorite are the Puma Tan, I love the aged look to the leather and the color is fantastic.  These would look great over a pair of skinny jeans or paired with a super feminine dress for the fall.  There are also really cool color combination that I have never seen before.  The Vintage Cognac with mint green cowhide tops are super unique and would definitely be a conversation starter.  I also love the Black Desparado which is a really traditional black on black pair with off white stiching and and bit of a distressed look.

Try pairing your boots with Skinny Jeans or leggings first, this is the best way to ease yourself into wearing real western wear.  Some of my favorite skinny jeans/leggings are Old Navy’s Rockstar Demin legging in the dark wash and in black.  I wear them almost every day and they would look great with your Justin boots over the jean and a bit of an over sized top, try this Charlotte Russe beaded button front top, its girly and sexy while still being casual and having a little bit of “Little House on the Prarie” attitude which will pair well with your Justin Bent Rail boots.

If you are feeling a little bit daring try a short feminine dress in a light fabric and print like this Urban Outfitters Lucca Couture Ruffle Dress paired with a traditional boot like the Justin Bent Rail Black Desporado.  A cute vintage inspired shoulder bag, like this Forever 21 scalloped bag really brings out the color of the print while keeping the look soft and girly. Finish the look off with some bangles like these from Old Navy and a cute feminine earring like this amazing $1.50 pair from Forever 21 and you have a great “date” look for fall that is casual and comfortable while still being sexy.

I hear that the comfort of these boots are second to none and what’s not to love a pair of shoes that are super trendy, beautiful and comfortable…you are not getting that with your Christian Louboutin‘s!

Justin Bent Rail also does a line of men’s and kids boots!
